Running Accomplishments:

I am a new runner and have only entered is a couple 5K races. My most recent race was a the fourth of July Melon Run in Gainesville FL. My time was 22.53.

Short-Term Running Goals:

My short term running goals are to run a 5k in under 20 minutes (hopefully in the Stop the Tears 5k that i'm running in October ) - currently training for a half marathon that is in Kiawah Island December 11th. My initial goal was to just finish with out walking but now i would like to do it in 1:45 or better.

-Complete 3 marathons or better

Qualify and participate in the Boston Marathon

This was my first ever double digit mileage . I started off with 5 minutes of light stretches and a 5 minute walk/high step warm up. I wasn't watching my time/keeping track of my splits though i did time it to see how long it would take. To my surprise i ended up running it in 1:20. It was very encouraging to finish a 10 mile run and i felt great after i finished.

Pre run i had a cup of coffee 2 waffles and 16oz bottle of power aid.

Post run i had 2 glasses of silk light chocolate, 16oz water, 1 mango and a chobani yogurt.
