This was my first ever double digit mileage . I started off with 5 minutes of light stretches and a 5 minute walk/high step warm up. I wasn't watching my time/keeping track of my splits though i did time it to see how long it would take. To my surprise i ended up running it in 1:20. It was very encouraging to finish a 10 mile run and i felt great after i finished. Pre run i had a cup of coffee 2 waffles and 16oz bottle of power aid. Post run i had 2 glasses of silk light chocolate, 16oz water, 1 mango and a chobani yogurt.
